Dr. Rumeet Billan is an award-winning entrepreneur, learning architect, speaker, author, and humanitarian. As the CEO and former owner of Women of Influence+ (the company was acquired in 2024) and the CEO and founder of Viewpoint Leadership, she is on a mission to transform workplace cultures through research, training, and experiences that foster trust, belonging, and resilience.
Since earning her PhD at the University of Toronto, Dr. Billan has designed and facilitated programs, courses, and training sessions across industries and sectors. She has twice led the groundbreaking research study, The Tallest Poppy, which exposed the impact of the silent systemic syndrome on women in the workplace. She also authored the study Exploring the Impact of Ageism on Women in the Workplace and co-led the Canadian Happiness at Work Study in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association. Her bestselling book, Who Do I Want To Become? was a Nautilus Book Award winner, and her TEDx keynote, The Future of Education, was adapted into a workshop for students across Canada.
Named one of Canada’s Top 10 Power Women in 2020, Dr. Billan is a regular guest on Global News, CTV, Breakfast Television, and has been featured in many national publications, including Forbes, The Globe and Mail, and The Financial Post. Dr. Billan served as Chair of the Board for Fora: Network for Change, and served on the Board of Directors for CODE. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for First Book Canada.
